Icchaverse (“App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is owned and operated by Sanmarg Educational Services Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 in India.

We are committed to protecting your personal data and ensuring transparent, lawful, and responsible use of the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy is drafted in compliance with:

• Digital      Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA – India)
• Global      best-practice standards followed by leading apps 
• App      Store and Google Play Developer Policies

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, your rights, and how you can exercise them.

1. DEFINITIONS

• “Personal      Data” means any data about an individual who      is identifiable.
• “Data      Fiduciary” means Sanmarg Educational Services      Private Limited.
• “Data      Principal” means a natural person who uses the      Icchaverse App.
• “Processing” means      the collection, storage, use, sharing, or deletion of personal data.
• “Service      Providers/Vendors” are third parties who offer      professional, educational, coaching, or other services relevant to a      user’s dream pathway.
• “Public      Dream” means dreams/wishes intentionally posted      by the user for community visibility.
• “Private      Dream” means a dream marked private and      protected with enhanced measures.
• “Consent” means      freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous agreement.

2. APPLICABILITY

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• Icchaverse      mobile application (Android/iOS)
• Websites,      subdomains, and related services offered by Icchaverse
• Interactions      with our vendors, service providers, and digital communities

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you must discontinue use of the App.

3. AGE RESTRICTION (18+)

Icchaverse is intended strictly for adults aged 18 years and above.

We do not knowingly collect or process personal data of anyone below 18 years.
If we learn that data of a minor has been collected, we will delete it immediately.

4. HOW WE OBTAIN CONSENT (IMPORTANT)

4.1 Explicit Consent

You provide explicit consent at the time of:

• App      registration
• Allowing      notifications
• Allowing      vendor/service provider suggestions
• Uploading      dreams, wishes, images, audio, or other content
• Selecting      “Public” or “Private” for dreams
• Connecting      with vendors

4.2 Implied Consent Through Use of the App

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Icchaverse App, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood, and consented to this Privacy Policy and all associated data practices.

This includes:

• Processing      your dreams/wishes through AI systems
• Suggesting      pathways and vendors based on your choices
• Collecting      device and usage data for app improvement

4.3 Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent anytime by:

• Account      deletion
• Adjusting      permissions
• Emailing      us at admin@icchaverse.com

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

5. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

5.1 Account & Identity Data

• Name
• Age      (18+)
• City/Region
• Gender      (optional)
• Mobile      Number (for OTP login, verification & security)
• Email      (if provided)
• Profile      photo (optional)
• Profession,      Hobbies, Skills and Interests (Optional)

5.2 Dream & Wish Data

• Dream      text, titles, descriptions
• Images,      voice notes, or other media you upload
• Sentiment      or intent answers given during dream analysis
• Privacy      setting: Public / Private
• AI-generated      pathways, milestones, and progress
• Actions      taken and proof uploaded (optional)

5.3 Usage & Interaction Data

• Likes      (“Bless Me”), comments, follows
• Dream      Feed interactions
• Notifications      opened
• Vendor/mentor      connect actions
• Gamification      participation (points, badges)

5.4 Device & Technical Data

• Device      model, OS version
• IP      address (fraud detection & security)
• App      version
• Crash      logs & diagnostics
• Approximate      location (city-level only)

5.5 Support & Feedback

• In-app      feedback
• Customer      support messages
• Bug/issue      reports

6. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA (PURPOSES)

Based on DPDP requirements.

We use your data to:

6.1 Core App Functions

• Create      & manage your account
• Generate      AI-powered pathways, milestones, sentiment-guided steps
• Display      dreams in the Dream Feed (Public dreams only)
• Allow      reactions, comments & community engagement
• Provide      motivational notifications & reminders

6.2 Vendor/Service Suggestions

Only after explicit user consent, we may suggest relevant vendors for your dream pathway.

✓ Only metadata shared (name, city, contact, specific requirements like Courses/Loans/Tour and so on)
✗ No dream text
✗ No private content

6.3 App Improvement

• Debugging,      analytics, crash handling
• Improving      AI-generated pathways
• Content      moderation
• Detecting      inappropriate content

6.4 Legal, Safety & Security Uses

• Fraud      prevention
• Response      to lawful requests
• Enforcing      Terms of Use
• Preventing      harm or misuse

7. SPECIAL PROTECTION FOR PRIVATE DREAMS

Private dreams have enhanced privacy safeguards:

• End-to-end      encrypted storage 
• Identity      masking in internal systems
• Only      authorized senior personnel may access private data in exceptional      cases (e.g., debugging or legal compliance)
• Private      dreams are never shown publicly
• Private      dreams are NOT shared with vendors however any specific requirements like      skillsets/courses/finance and so on maybe shared after consent by User.
• Only      AI systems may process private dreams to generate pathways

8. HOW WE SHARE YOUR DATA

We do NOT sell your personal data.

8.1 Service Providers (Processors)

We share data with cloud + technology partners who process information only under our instructions, including:

• Cloud      hosting (AWS / GCP)
• Authentication      (Firebase/Supabase)
• AI      engines (OpenAI / similar)
• Notification      platforms
• Analytics      (e.g., Amplitude/Mixpanel/GA4)
• Customer      support tools

8.2 Vendor / Mentor / Service Providers

Only with your explicit consent, and only:

• Name
• City
• Contact      information
• Specific      Requirements (e.g., Career, Business, Travel, Finance and so on)

Dream text is never shared.

8.3 Legal Authorities

If required by:

• Court      order
• Government      authority
• Safety      or legal obligations

9. CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS

Some of our cloud/AI services may be located outside India.
Where data is processed outside India, we ensure:

• Contractual      protections
• Secure      transmission
• Compliance      with DPDPA 2023 cross-border norms

You consent to such transfers by using the App.

10. SECURITY MEASURES

We implement:

• AES-256      encryption at rest
• TLS      1.3 encryption in transit
• Secure      access controls
• Role-based      admin permissions
• Multi-factor      authentication for admin accounts
• Logged      and audited access to sensitive data
• Regular      security audits

Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure.

11. DATA RETENTION

• Account      data is stored until you delete your account
• Backups      are automatically purged within 7 days
• Dreams/wishes      are deleted immediately upon user request
• Logs/analytics      are anonymized after retention periods

12. YOUR RIGHTS (UNDER DPDPA 2023)

As a Data Principal, you have the right to:

✓ Delete your data (Right to Erasure)

✓ Withdraw consent

✓ Nominate another person for rights management (DPDPA-right)

13. COMMUNITY INTERACTIONS

• Public      dreams appear in the Dream Feed
• Other      users may react (Bless Me) or comment
• Public      dreams may be screenshotted or shared by other users—we cannot control      this

If you prefer privacy, mark dreams as Private.

14. COOKIES & TRACKING

Cookies or similar technologies may be used for:

• Analytics
• User      experience improvement
• Authentication      & security

You may disable them but parts of the App may not function.

15. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally.

We will notify you through:

• App      notifications
• Policy      page update
• Email      (if applicable)

Continuing to use the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
